WHAT’S NEW:

March is officially Social Worker’s Month. Hats off to all the social workers in the Lawrence and Haverhill Department of Children & Families and social workers across the country who are the unsung heros and help our kids every day. We will be holding a special breakfast at each office later this month to honor their hard work. See pictures from last year’s Social Worker’s Breakfast.

Calling all motorcycle riders...our 3rd Annual Motorcycle Ride Fundraiser is Sunday July 22nd. This year’s ride has a new twist – it’s a Poker Run with five stops from Tewksbury to Gloucester to pick up your full poker hand.  Regisration fee is the cost of a poker hand: $25.00.  Riders may purchase as many poker hands as they desire. There will be a Rider picnic at 2:00 pm with music and raffles. Bring the whole family. We hope to see you there.

Thank you for a spectacular Christmas season again.  We were overwhelmed with the outpouring of community support. With the help of our Santa’s Helpers volunteers, we helped to provide a joyous Christmas for more than 250 local foster children and other children in need.  A huge thanks to our wrapping volunteers and all of our Santa’s Helpers who helped make this past Christmas a memorable one.

Call for Santa’s Helpers!!
Every year we match up one foster child’s wish list with a Santa’s Helper volunteer who will fulfill their wishes. A Santa’s Helper can be a person or a group.
